- UNDERSTANDING THE BASICS
What Quality Palliative Care Looks Like
Palliative care supports participants living with serious or life-limiting illness, with a focus on quality of life rather than cure. It addresses physical, emotional, and social needs, while also providing meaningful support to family members walking the journey alongside their loved one.
Why Specialist Palliative Support Matters
Palliative care done well changes everything. It eases pain, manages symptoms, supports emotional wellbeing, and gives families the presence and skill they need during the hardest stage of life. Without proper support, this time becomes harder than it needs to be.
How It Connects To Your NDIS Plan Palliative
Palliative care can be funded through your NDIS plan, typically under “Improved Daily Living” or “Assistance with Daily Living.” Our registered nurses document everything properly to support your funding, your care plan, and ongoing review by stakeholders involved in your loved one’s journey.
Why We Deliver Care At Home
Our care is delivered at home, where many participants and families want to be during this time. The clinical rigour matches a hospital, but the warmth, presence, and respect are what make this experience truly different.

- The Care Factor
Why We're Built for Complex Care
Most providers can describe their model in a brochure. Ours shows up in the everyday work. Here’s what that actually looks like.
01
Clinically Led from Day One
Our directors are registered nurses. Every placement begins with our clinical team in the home, understanding the environment before anyone else steps in.
02
Built Around the Person
We design supports around how each participant actually lives, observing routines and risks first, then bringing in the right team once foundations fit.
03
Leadership You Can Reach
Our directors stay close to the work. When you need a decision, you’re talking to someone who already knows the participant well.
04
Care That Holds It Together
From hospital discharges to housing transitions and conversations with Public Guardians, Trustees and allied health, we keep placements steady.

Frequently Asked Questions
Get clear, honest answers to the questions we hear most from the people we support and those who support them.
Do I need NDIS funding for this service?
Palliative care can be funded through your NDIS plan, typically under “Improved Daily Living” or “Assistance with Daily Living.” If you’re not sure whether you have the right funding, we can help you check and guide you through the process.
Can care be delivered in the home?
Yes. We deliver palliative care in the participant’s home, which is where many people choose to spend their final months. Our nurses bring everything needed to keep care safe, comfortable, and dignified.
Can you work with my GP or specialist?
Absolutely. We coordinate directly with GPs, palliative specialists, allied health, hospice services, and Support Coordinators to keep care joined up across every provider involved.
How do you support families and carers?
Family support is central to palliative care. We provide practical guidance, emotional support, education, and presence, walking alongside families through every part of the journey.
How quickly can care start?
For palliative situations, we move quickly. Our clinical team can usually begin within days, coordinating with hospital teams or GPs to ensure everything is in place when it’s needed.
